Bomb Disposal, an ever-increasingly important part of the agency, is composed of
trained deputies normally attached to the Enforcement Bureau that respond to and
render explosive devises safe and provide guidelines, training and assistance to
department personnel responding to explosive ordinance calls.
The unit investigates and disposes of all explosive materials and investigate explosions
and dumping as required.
The Bomb Squad also provides services to assist other jurisdictions, including other
law enforcement agencies and the local fire departments.
