The Tactical Investigations Unit is comprised of the following components; Narcotics, Vice, and Prescription Fraud. Responsibilities include the enforcement of the illegal sale, use and possession of narcotics. Also investigated are complaints of prostitution, gambling, pornography, and illegal use and sale of alcoholic beverages. In an effort to impact street level narcotics dealing and other related crimes, the Unit regularly conducts prostitution and narcotics “reverses,” search warrants and other covert operations.
