Suspect(s) Description: 4 black male, teens, 2-red hoodies, 1 grey hoodie, 1 green hoodie all with dark pants, masks, gloves, trash bags over hands, what appeared to be trash bags over the pistols.
At approximately 4:56 am on 08/15/19 four black males covered up to their eyes entered the 7-11 store and pointed what appeared from the video to be firearms at the clerk. Three of them came around the counter while the fourth jumped over it. They forced the store clerk at gunpoint to open both cash registers taking several hundred dollars.
One suspect forced the clerk against the wall while the other three loaded large black trash bags with cigarette cartons. The clerk was then forced down to the ground with the lookout/guard standing over him, telling the clerk “if you move, you’re dead”. The other three then ran around the store selecting random items from the shelf. All four then ran from the store, east towards Tijuana Flats. Video and images from this incident were not very good quality.
Detectives believe these are the same suspects who committed a similar robbery at the Mobil Gas Station (6290 Lake Osprey Dr.) on 08/03/19. Several good images from this crime are attached. The suspect vehicle may be a 2006 – 2011 Kia Rio with a rear spoiler.
These individuals are also suspected in several other recent robberies in the Tampa Bay Area.
