At approximately 1:40 pm (04/18/19) a detective in an unmarked MCSO vehicle observed a reckless driver in a Black Honda leaving 5907 2nd St W heading west bound. The vehicle was confirmed stolen earlier in the day. As the detective was calling in the tag number, the vehicle began to maneuver even more recklessly east bound on 61St Ave W. The vehicle could not negotiate the curve at 61st and 2nd St W and drove into the living room of 6027 2nd St W. The driver fled and remains at large. Wilson (passenger in Honda) was detained on scene.
The damaged residence was evacuated, along with the adjoining duplex, 6029 2nd St W. Several people were inside the residence at the time, but none of them were injured.
Wilson was arrested for trespassing in a conveyance and transported to MMH after he complained of leg pain.
