This system directly searches the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) Sexual Offenders and Predators database. Information viewed has been reported directly to FDLE by the Florida Department of Corrections and the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. FDLE merely compiles and provides this information for public access, and does not independently confirm the accuracy of the information compiled and provided.

ATTN REGISTERED OFFENDERS
If you are new to Manatee County and need to register, Call the Sex Offender Unit at 747-3011 Ext. 1937 or 1938 between the hours of 8AM and 5PM.
The days and hours for re-registration of offenders/predators is Tuesday or Wednesday between the hours of 8:30AM to 4:00PM

Please Note:

A Florida law, effective 7/1/96, requires the Florida Department of Law Enforcement to maintain an updated list of Registered Sexual Predators in this state after a court has made a written finding designating them as a Sexual Predator as that term is defined by Florida statute.

Florida State Statute 775.21 and 943.0435 requires all designated Predators and Offenders to register with law enforcement.  This information is compiled by FDLE in conjunction with information provided by Department of Corrections and is made available to the public.  Citizens may go to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement public website and obtain information about Predators and Offenders including photographs.

Under Chapter 119, Florida Statutes, the Public Records Law, any of the public records of the Department of Law Enforcement are available for review upon request, subject to statutorily-authorized editing of exempt or confidential information. Your continued access to Predator or Offender information via this site constitutes your request to view selected information.

Important Reminders:

  • Positive identification of a person believed to be a sexual predator or sex offender cannot be established unless a fingerprint comparison is made.
  • It is illegal to use public information regarding a Sexual Predator or Sex Offender to facilitate the commission of a crime.
  • This listing refers to sexual offenses, and may not reflect the entire Florida criminal history of a particular individual. A complete public record Florida criminal history can be secured from FDLE at the cost of $15 per subject requested.
  • FDLE tries to assure that the information presented here is accurate and current. Although FDLE updates this site on a regular basis, the information can change quickly. You are cautioned that it is possible that information provided on this site may not reflect the current residence, status or other information regarding an individual.

FDLE has also established a toll-free number (1-888-FL-PREDATOR) or (1-888-357-7332) that allows the public to request information about Sexual Predators and Sex Offenders living in their communities and around the state. Requests may be made between the hours of 7am and 7pm, Monday through Friday.
